Japan is one of the first names on the lips of many when it comes to Asia, and rightly so. It is known to be the perfect blend of modernity and history, and a perfect representation of Japanese culture is seen in Kyoto. Kyoto, the former capital of Japan up until imperial times, is a constant reminder of the rich history of Japan and the abundance of monuments. During the summer, Kyoto is bright, green, and beautiful, and it can usually get a bit hot. This all adds to the allure of this amazing place. 
  • You definitely need to try some Kagigori! Italy has Gelato, Nigeria has Zobo, and the Japanese have Kagigori, which is basically shaved ice and is a popular fixture all summer long. 
  • Go North! What are you going to see when you go north of Kyoto? Kibune. A small yet beautiful town in the mountains that’s the perfect escape from the bustling main town of Kyoto.Another draw for tourists is the Kifune Shrine. With its stone steps lined with red lantern poles in the middle of the forest, this site is a perfect postcard spot.

Although known to be a hot tourist spot all year, June–December is usually the busiest time for people visiting Singapore. Famous for its clean streets, its focus on nature, and being one of the greenest cities in the world, the dynamic city is all about its unique culture and rich history.   • Seoraksan National Park: a UNESCO world heritage centre with amazing views.
